Reliable LNG contract

This is our third contract for Liquefied Natural Gas with Woodside, and once again, they've been incredibly reliable. Our previous experiences were positive, and this one was no different. The terms were clear, delivery schedules met, and their team is always professional. It's why we keep coming back to them for our energy needs.

Investor relations was helpful

I called Woodside Energy investor relations about their dividend reinvestment plan. The person I spoke with was pretty helpful. Got all my questions answered about how that works. It was easy enough to understand.

Good partnership experience

We recently engaged Woodside Energy for a Carbon Capture and Storage Services partnership. On the whole, it was a positive experience. Their technical expertise was evident, and their team was very responsive to our questions. The initial setup took a bit longer than anticipated to finalize the joint venture agreements, which was a minor hiccup, but once we got going, the execution was solid. Value for money was fair given the scale of the project. I'd consider working with them again, but hope for a quicker start next time.

Hey, thinking about investing in energy. Is Woodside Energy a good bet compared to like, Santos or BP?

A Ashley Thompson 1 week ago
From what I hear, Woodside's pretty big in LNG and they've got some massive projects like Scarborough coming online, which could be a big deal for future growth.

S Sarah Evans 1 week ago
Yeah, they're a major player, especially in the Aussie market. Santos is also big, but Woodside feels like it's got a slightly broader global footprint. BP is a supermajor, different league almost, but also facing different pressures around renewables.

Can I get some kind of discount or deal if I wanted to buy shares in Woodside?

L Leah J. 1 month ago
Nah, they don't do retail discounts for buying shares like that. Your best bet for any kind of financial incentive would be through their dividend reinvestment plan once you're already a shareholder.

No coupons or special deals on share purchases for regular folks, sorry. It's more about long-term investment and the dividends they pay.

Are they really an Australian company or just another big corporation with a presence there?

M Matt Rivera 1 month ago
They're definitely an Australian company, headquarters are in Perth, Western Australia. Been around for a long time.

Yep, born and bred Australian, though they have operations all over the world now.

How do they actually get the gas to industrial places? Like, is it all pipes or do they ship it?

K Kyle Taylor 3 weeks ago
It's a mix, depends where the industrial customer is. For LNG, they liquefy it and ship it on big tankers, but they also use pipeline natural gas for closer areas.

H Hannah M. 3 weeks ago
Mostly huge LNG tankers for international or distant customers, but yeah, pipelines for domestic industrial supply in some regions too.
